A gift to my mother in honor of her 80th birthday, and like many a quilter's gift, I gave her only the quilt top on the big day, and then took it away to finish. This piece pays tribute to Ma's talents as a potter-those pots represent actual pieces she's made, and a Torah scholar. Here's the quilt label, which translates the Hebrew passage:
