Galactic Donut Holes

11" x 17" 2005 The quilt top was composed in a Sue Benner class at QSDS. Try as I might to make an abstract, I always see figurative pictorials in my work. When I realized I had fat, doughy rings and little spheres swirling around in outer space, I knew I had the makings of an appropriate 19th birthday present for my son Sam, who loves sci-fi and donuts.
